I Want to Reach Ataraxia

While watching Platzi’s 200th-anniversary podcast, where Manuel Sescosse and Fredy Vega participated, the word ataraxia caught my attention.

This word could be a key guide to understanding how to align my goals. All I want in life is to have a garden and a room full of computers. Maybe I want to return to what I once was — when I was six years old, playing with a broken computer running Windows 95, fascinated by the colors of a digital manual inside it.

That’s what I want: to reach a state where I’m not disturbed by what surrounds me and can focus on what truly matters to me.
